Frequently asked questions

Booking & Pricing
Browse our fleet or tell us your dates and preferences via the contact form. We'll send a curated shortlist with transparent pricing. Once you choose, we handle the rest — confirmation, contracts, and pre-departure briefing.
For peak season (July–August), we recommend booking 3–6 months ahead. Shoulder season (May–June, September–October) is more flexible, but popular boats still go fast. Last-minute deals are sometimes available outside peak weeks.
The base price typically includes the yacht, basic insurance, and standard equipment. Extras like fuel, marina fees, provisioning, skipper, and crew are usually additional. We always break down the full cost before you commit — no hidden fees.
Yes, most charters require a refundable security deposit (typically €1,500–€5,000 depending on the yacht). This is returned after the charter if the boat is in good condition. Deposit waiver insurance is available on many boats.
We accept bank transfer (SEPA), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and PayPal. Payment is typically split: 50% at booking, 50% four weeks before departure.
Cancellation policies vary by operator, but most allow free changes up to 8 weeks before departure. We'll walk you through the specific terms before you book. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
The Charter Experience
For bareboat charters, yes — at least one person on board must hold a valid sailing licence (ICC or equivalent). If you don't have one, book a skippered charter and we'll arrange an experienced local skipper.
Bareboat means you sail the yacht yourself. Skippered adds a professional captain who handles navigation. Crewed includes a full team — captain, hostess, and sometimes a chef — for a fully serviced experience.
May to October is the sailing season. July and August are warmest and busiest (and most expensive). June and September offer the best balance: warm water, lighter crowds, and better rates. May and October are quieter with mild conditions.
It varies by yacht. Our fleet ranges from small RIBs for 6–8 people to luxury catamarans and motor yachts sleeping 10–12. We'll match you with the right boat for your group size.
Absolutely. Many of our yachts are family-friendly with safety nets, shallow swim platforms, and calm-water routes. We can recommend specific boats and itineraries suited to families with young children.
Light layers, swimwear, sun protection, soft-soled shoes (no black soles), and a light jacket for evenings. Pack in soft bags, not hard suitcases — they're easier to stow. We send a full packing list before departure.
Destinations & Routes
We have yachts based across 40+ Sardinian marinas. The most popular departure points are Olbia, Porto Cervo, Cannigione, Palau, and Cagliari. We can help you choose the best starting point for your route.
Yes — and we encourage it. Tell us what matters to you (beaches, nightlife, quiet anchorages, snorkelling, food) and we'll design a route around your priorities. Or choose one of our suggested itineraries as a starting point.
Yes, the Strait of Bonifacio between Sardinia and Corsica is one of the most popular crossings in the Med. It's a short hop from Santa Teresa Gallura or Palau to Bonifacio. Some operators allow international crossings; we'll confirm availability.
