RIBs also suit guests who are not sure whether a multi-day yacht charter is for them. A day on a RIB is an excellent way to experience Sardinia from the water at lower cost and lower commitment, and many guests come back to us afterward wanting to book a longer charter on a catamaran, motor yacht or sailing yacht.

In South Sardinia, RIBs offer access to some of the island's least crowded and most visually striking coastline — especially around Villasimius, Chia and the Sulcis coast.

Half-day trip

What does a RIB rental cost in Sardinia?
RIB rentals are generally among the most affordable charter options in Sardinia. Pricing depends on the size of the boat, engine power, season, whether a skipper is included, and the duration of the rental. Half-day rentals are available and represent excellent value for guests who want a focused coastal experience.
As a general guide, smaller RIBs without a skipper sit at the lowest price point, while larger skippered RIBs with more powerful engines cost more but offer a significantly better experience in terms of speed, range and comfort. Peak summer months command higher prices than June or September, when conditions are often just as good.
Self-drive
The most affordable option. Best for licensed boaters who want independence and are comfortable navigating the coast on their own.
Skippered
A modest premium over self-drive, but usually the better choice for most guests. Local knowledge alone often justifies the difference.
Premium RIB

Best time
When to rent a RIB in Sardinia.
RIBs are available throughout the Sardinia charter season, roughly from May through to early October. The best conditions are typically between June and September, when the sea is warmest, the weather is most settled and the water visibility is at its peak. July and August offer the longest days and the warmest water, but also the highest demand.
